Welcome to Hedgerow's 2009 Summer Season! |
 |
 | | | | This summer we have chosen to laugh at ourselves. We build from the dark and realistic vision offered in the spring of The White Room by Nagle Jackson to a classic genre of Musical Comedy -- with both The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 and Nunsense and the tried and true genre of farce with the return of another favorite playwright of Hedgerow audiences, Ray Cooney, with his first play One for the Pot. We challenge you to laugh and set yourself free!

 | | | Directed by Jared Reed July 10-Aug. 30, 2009 - Heritage Series Join us for our 8th annual Ray Cooney farce! Running for over 1200 performances at the London's Whitehall Theatre, One For The Pot has become one of the most popular and revived of the Whitehall farces. When a wealthy Northern mill owner offers 10,000 pounds to the son of a former business associate provided he is the only living relative, Billy Hickory Wood arrives in anticipation to collect his money. Soon a procession of Hickory Woods follow, all claiming to be the sole living relation and rightful beneficiaries, creating a seemingly endless string of mistaken identities and hilarious confusion.
