Welcome to Hedgerow's 2009 Summer Season!
This summer we have chosen to laugh at ourselves. We build from the dark and realistic vision offered in the spring of The White Room by Nagle Jackson to a classic genre of Musical Comedy -- with both The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 and Nunsense and the tried and true genre of farce with the return of another favorite playwright of Hedgerow audiences, Ray Cooney, with his first play One for the Pot. We challenge you to laugh and set yourself free!
 Nunsense
 Dan Goggin
Directed by Micki Sharpe
June 11-28, 2009 - Heritage Series
When the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials. The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show! Meet Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer; Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of Novices; a streetwise nun from Brooklyn named Sister Robert Anne; Sister Mary Leo, a novice who is a wannabe ballerina; and the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia, the nun who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head. With more than 5,000 productions worldwide, it has been translated into 21 languages and makes its Hedgerow premiere this June! Click the Gallery at right to meet the cast!

Directed by Jared Reed
July 10-Aug. 30, 2009 - Heritage Series
Join us for our 8th annual Ray Cooney farce! Running for over 1200 performances at the London's Whitehall Theatre, One For The Pot has become one of the most popular and revived of the Whitehall farces. When a wealthy Northern mill owner offers 10,000 pounds to the son of a former business associate provided he is the only living relative, Billy Hickory Wood arrives in anticipation to collect his money. Soon a procession of Hickory Woods follow, all claiming to be the sole living relation and rightful beneficiaries, creating a seemingly endless string of mistaken identities and hilarious confusion.

Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 4 p.m. & 8 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays, July 22 and Aug. 30 at 1 p.m.

Special Shows: Friday, July 17 Opening Night Meet-the-Cast Post-Show Party.
